A spread I made about Venice. It illustrates the feeling i got from the city which was that there was no life left in the city. Venice is a dead city which is only still in existence because of tourism.

An illustration I did after having been to the zoo with school.

experimenting with different materials

i have used charcoal as ink by taking a water filled aquarelle brush and stroke it against a piece of it until the charcoal would stick onto my brush. afterwards i took a fine liner and added detail and defined some of the shapes a bid more.

An assignment from my art school.
I was given the task of creating a booklet. the subject was mine to choose but has to be related to what we have done past week.
I choose to make a booklet about the character of Rotterdam, going further and further in depth as you go through the booklet.

this is the concept version of the booklet to test if everything was in order so now I'm going to start with the final version of it which will be 18 cm wide and 24 cm high.
