An assignment from my art school.

I was given the task of creating a booklet. the subject was mine to choose but has to be related to what we have done past week.

I choose to make a booklet about the character of Rotterdam, going further and further in depth as you go through the booklet.

this is the concept version of the booklet to test if everything was in order so now I'm going to start with the final version of it which will be 18 cm wide and 24 cm high.

Started a new painting tonight, it is still in it's very early stages.

I'm painting on a Piece of MDF because I didn't like the texture of canvas. Up to this point I've only used a sponge to apply the paint which gave me great control which resembles the control that I have while I use the pc to paint.

Weekly update

After having copied half of the booklet it's time to divide my time into not only just sketching but also spent some time on painting. So as of today I've started the preparations for a painting of a humming bird which will be for in my brother's new house. Expect an update on that in the near future !
